You look very expensive. Am I right?
That might be a compliment, but no, we're not. Gibson is a small creative agency so we don't have too many mouths to feed. We can maintain the quality of our design service without big agency overheads. Besides, we'll definitely add to your bottom line, so we think we're a worthwhile investment.

How do I know you've got the experience I need?
All the senior people that work for Gibson have over twenty years in branding, graphic design, advertising and web design. We could give you a long list of the major brands we've worked with, but you've probably got better things to do than read our CVs.
How would you describe your working method?
We get to know you, your brand, your objectives and your plans. We don't start anything at Gibson without a very thorough creative briefing with you. Anything less is scant preparation.
If brand strategy is required, we'll help you with that, then we'll develop some ideas for you based on the outcome, present them for discussions and take it onwards from there. If your plans are already in place we'll find the best way possible to help make them happen.
We're definitely more analyst than stylist, there's a lot of thinking before we consider the formal qualities of any design work we do. Having said that, we spend time on every little detail. We also know the value of powerful copy – you have to engage as well as attract an audience. We'll inject some wit and humour, too, if it fits. It never fails to do the job.

What's a typical Gibson client?
Our kind of client is smart, open-minded and knows that what we'll help them meet the challenges they face. They tend to be managing directors, marketing directors or owner-managers. What if I don't like the work you give me?
We can't be modest here – that just isn't going to happen. In all our time at Gibson we've never had to go back to the drawing board. In fact, we're often in the situation where a client wants to use more than one idea, which is a nice place to be. We were developing a single brand name for a client recently when they decided to take, and use, four of our suggestions.
Is there anything you won't do?
Hmmm. We're not keen on giving away our ideas for free in pitches, it's our livelihood, after all, and we have bills to pay. And we won't exceed our estimate for a project unless it's changed in height, width and depth. Golf, too. We don't do golf. Life's too short.
I really like your ideas. Can I copy stuff?

How do I know you're real?
Descartes had this pinned down better than we do, but to keep this strictly legal: we are Gibson Creative Ltd, registered in England Wales and our number is 5169024. Our registered address is 22 Portman Road, London SW14 8NX and our VAT number is 830445842.
Where is Gibson based?
We're on the very edge of south west London, near Richmond in Surrey; very close to North Sheen station and about 15 minutes walk from Kew and Richmond stations. Something like a hundred buses stop right outside. We're about 25 minutes from Waterloo, if you're coming overground from central London.
