Cleaning up the Carbon8 brand
Carbon8 Systems have already won pretty much every environmental enterprise award that they've entered. A technology spin-off business from the University of Greenwich, they've delivered a powerful scientific idea that's destined to clean up heavy industry.
Accelerated Carbonation Technology (ACT) is their patented process – a rapid, cost-effective treatment for soil and industrial waste. The process uses carbon dioxide emissions from local sources and combines it with the unwanted waste to produce carbonate particles that can then be used as harmless aggregate or engineering fill. The carbon dioxide is captured in the particles. Permanently.
